eli goes to daddy's soccer game

great day for a game of soccer. cloudy and ~70 with a nice cool breeze blowing across the fields. everyone came out to play and watch...including the smiths. they even won...4-0. it must have been the cheerleading section that gave them the extra boost to win. Andy scored one of the goals. go daddy go!

an afternoon walk with daddy and samee really wore eli out...as you can see. too bad it only lasted for 15 minutes or so.

How things have changed...already

First picture was Eli during his 3rd week of life...Andy was showing the wear of having a new baby.

Second picture was just a week ago while watching the World Cup. Andy has finally gotten some decent sleep.














The first photo is Eli in his swing at 1 week old and then the second was taken today. Man this kid has grown! What a difference!

Somebody found his feet

Eli has officially found his feet. While I was uploading photos today, he also rolled from his back to his tummy for the first time on his own. Then proceeded to get ticked off because he couldn't roll back onto his back with out a little bit of assistance from mommy. Before too long this kid will be rolling from room to room like his daddy did.

Eli is not the least bit modest (sound like anyone else we might know?) but good thing mommy is looking out for him.



And then we put clothes on him and look what happens.

While daddy was helping out Cecil's daddy (Matt Abbott), the mommies (April & Stacy) took the boys on a stroll and much needed trip to Starbucks.

Only to return to the daddies watching the World Cup with beers in hand. I don't think they got much work done. :) Then the little boys had to join in watching too!
