historic carousel ride

eli and mommy had a great time riding the historic carousel at the columbus zoo.

daddy didn't want to ride but took some great photos. great job!!!

zoo--aquarium

eli loved the aquariums at the zoo. he was

mesmerized by all the creatures swimming

around in front of him.

check out eli's newest additions...if you double click on the

photos you can almost see the additional top ones coming in.

i think he even has a couple down low trying to push their

way to the surface. we do have one molar popped through.

first haircut

before: we noticed that eli was getting a mullet. his hair was
growing a little bit too fast in the back and not fast enough on top.
top that with no curls and you get the mullet. so we decided it
was time. sorry no actual photos of the process...it took both
of us to really make sure we didn't cut more than hair.

and....wa la...

after: we did a pretty good job. not exactly
professional quality but no more mullet. now that
it has grown in a little...it looks great.

(...andy got his mullet trimmed as well...so no chris
no more mullet for andy either...hee hee)

off to the park we go

eli takes time to show his mamaw (my mom) the way
to the playground.


"hey wait up everyone!!! i can't go that fast"


eli is hurrying to get over to the chain ladder to give
his papaw and cousin, grace, a helping hand.
